As we enter our second calendar year with Statewide rent control, the cap will vary from year to year based on the CPI. The Oregon Office of Economic Analysis just announced that the annual rent caps for 2020 will be 9.9%. Accepting that rent control is here to stay, I don’t see many objections to this annual cap.
